2025

2025 has been a very busy and excited year of adventures and accomplishments for Palacio Wheatens. Sapphire finished her championship. Topper is more than half way from finishing his Grand Championship. Sapphire and Katherine will be attending the AKC National Championship in Orlando, Florida in December. Wish them luck.

2026

January 2026:

1/20/26: Palacio wheatens welcomed 8 beautiful puppies. Four boys & Four girls.  Pups and mom are doing great, they grow and grow each day. Pups are by Ch Moxxy Shandalee Unforgettable Fire " Max"  x GCh Macphail What Ever M'Lady Wants DCAT CGCA TKN ATT HA4 "Aoibheann. We are super excited to see these little potatoes grow.

1/31/26: Sapphire went off with her auntie Catherine Pickul Carson and shined in the show ring finishing her Grand Championship while Katherine was home with pups and Aoibhean. We are so happy to have her be the first of Beans kids to finish her Grand, especially with such limited showing.

3/31/26: The “Adventure” litter has officially gone off to their new homes, and they are already thriving with their wonderful families. We couldn’t be more excited to watch them grow, explore the world, and blossom into everything they’re meant to be. Out of this litter of 8, we have three puppies showing very promising potential for the show ring, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for them.

April 2026:

4/7/2026: Topper completed his Grand Championship in style—earning two Best of Breed wins and an impressive Terrier Group 2. We couldn’t be more proud of this boy and all he has accomplished with such limited showing.

4/22/2026: Topper took Best of Breed at the SCWTCA Supported entry in Timonium, MD under judge Richard Powel. It is so great to be back in the ring with him.

4/23/2026: News from this past weekend on Sapphire. Her and her Best Friend Erin took 1st in there class at the Grooming Contest in Maryland. Huge Congratulations to this team. For the grooming contest its important to have a dog who is confident as well as a dog who is structurally nice so the competitor does not have to do a lot of corrective grooming.
